West Town is the catch-all for the blocks between Wicker Park and the Loop's west edge: Ukrainian Village, East Village, Noble Square, and the Chicago Avenue and Grand Avenue corridors. The housing is brick two- and three-flats, greystones, workers cottages on the side streets, and a steady supply of new condo buildings on the main avenues. Storefronts with apartments above line Ashland, Division, Chicago, and Grand.
Getting around: the Blue Line at Division and Chicago, the Ashland and Western buses, and a short ride to the Loop or the Kennedy. Parking is easier here than in Wicker Park proper, and many of the older buildings have rear garages off the alley.
